Tesla Model S

Inside the Tesla Model S

This new plug-in electric sedan will be revolutionary in more ways than one.

When Tesla Motors begins sales of the Model S sedan next year it’ll be a huge move. The “boutique” electric car maker will go from selling a relative handful of its two-seat roadsters to tens of thousands of these much bigger — but also much less expensive — four-door cars.

Translator Tool

Here is a translation tool that I found online. It was made by the Translate Team at Google. I excitedly anticipate using this tool when building my websites which will cater to a multilingual audience. The only problem so far is that it is Javascript, and WordPress doesn’t natively support it. There are circumventions, so I will be looking into those.

Quotes to live by!

In no particular order, these are some of the quotes I look back to when inertia starts to creep in.

  • “A mortgage casts a shadow on the sunniest field.” ~Robert Green Ingersoll on avoiding debt.
  • “Whether you think that you can, or that you can’t, you are usually right.” -Henry Ford
  • “Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody’s looking.  There are too many people who think that the only thing that’s right is to get by, and the only thing that’s wrong is to get caught.” – rephrased from JC Watts
  • “Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security.” -Benjamin Franklin
  • “I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.” -Thomas Jefferson
  • “It is the eye of other people that ruin us. If I were blind I would want, neither fine clothes, fine houses or fine furniture.” -Benjamin Franklin
  • “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” -Benjamin Franklin
  • “An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a narrow field.” -Neils Bohr
  • “If everything seems under control, you’re not going fast enough.” – Mario Andretti
  • “The truth is, EVERYONE is going to hurt you. You just have to find the one’s worth suffering for.” -Bob Marley
  • “The greatest luxury of all is having the time to experience life.” -paraphrased, John Maeda, President of RISD
  • “Sometimes the best medicine is inspiration. It beats caffeine every time.” – Chris Hernandez
  • “You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen.” – Paulo Coelho
